A deeply contoured instrument cluster with a full-length center console separated driver and passenger. The rear ones in the regular 370Z were for insurance only. Inside, the 370Z Nismo offered just two seats. At the rear, a large fender was mounted at the bottom of the rear windshield, on top of the trunk lid. There were special sills on the side that channeled airflow along with the bodywork, which helped control airflow under the car. A duck design at each corner with small fenders provided more downforce for the car at high speeds.

The car featured a fully integrated aerodynamic package, including a new front end design. The Nismo was the version that turned a comfortable coupe into a track-ready sports car. The 370Z was nothing more than an upgraded 350Z with an improved design. But it took another two years before the Nismo version was introduced. In 2008, Nissan unveiled the 370Z at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Stability control was available with the Grand Touring trim. As for safety, the 350Z is equipped with standard anti-lock disc brakes and traction control. The automatic transmission was not available for Base and Nismo models.

The Nismo was easily recognizable because the wheels had a darker finish than other available interior trim levels. The Nismo was a limited edition model in which comfort was compromised in favor of stiffer suspension, more precise steering and other aerodynamic improvements. The Touring model added an upgraded Bose sound system, Bluetooth connectivity, heated seats and leather upholstery. The base level came with 18-inch wheels, bi-xenon headlights, automatic climate control, a full electric package and steering wheel controls. The Nismo and base versions were specific to the coupe. Available interior trim levels included the base model, Enthusiast, Touring, Grand Touring and Nismo. The 350Z was available as a coupe or convertible and was a less expensive version of the well-known Skyline. The model, released in 2008, was one of the best cars on the market at the time.
